Why the company responsible for tragic death of 5 patients in Sushrut Trauma Centre is a still in service?

Protest demonstration, dharna by BJP demanding dismissal of Health Minister and judicial enquiry into gas supply scam

New Delhi, 4th February. Thousands of BJP workers belonging to BJP Medical Cell staged march and strong dharna at AIIMS protesting against failure of the Government to put the oxygen supply company in black list which was responsible for the death of 5 patients in Sushrut Trauma Centre and conspiracy of the Government to allow this company to supply oxygen in five leading hospitals of Delhi. Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta led the demonstration. He demanded the Government to order judicial enquiry into this corruption and dismissal of Health Minister Dr. Ashok Kumar Walia.
Addressing the people present on this occasion, Shri Vijender Gupta told that the case of murder should be filed against the persons responsible for the death of 5 patients in trauma centre. Delhi Government should also explain that when the Health Minister and Chief Minister had informed in a press conference that the gas supply company has been black listed; Cabinet has also taken decision in this regard and enquiry has been started, then why this case is being gradually covered up? It shows that there is grave conspiracy between Government and the company.

He has raised a question that on whose orders the company is being allowed to work by changing the cabinet decision. Inspite of this tragedy, health services in the capital of India is unreliable as usual. Central Government is also responsible for it as the Health department of Delhi Government. Hospitals in Delhi have become butcher houses. Nobody takes care of the patients in government hospitals. Government has not fixed responsibility in this case. Tragedies happen and covered up later on. Shri Gupta announced that until the health services do not become reliable and responsibility is not fixed BJP will continue to agitate.

Convener of Medical Cell Dr. S.C.L. Gupta, Dr. Sambit Patra, Dr. Dinesh Upadhyay, Councilors Sanjay Kaushik, Devender Solanki, New Delhi District President Pankaj Jain and many senior leaders participated in the protest march.
