BJP will not celeberate the new year

Thousands with tears in their eyes pay tributes to the gang rape victim, Arun Jaitely, Sushma Swaraj address condolence meeting 



Thousands of BJP workers and senior leaders assembled in a condolence meeting at the BJP Delhi Pradesh Headquarters at 14, Pandit Pant Marg held to protest the failure of the Government to take the case of the gang rape victim seriously and her tragic death and prayed to the God for peace to her soul by lighting lamp in her memory and paid tributes to the fighter girl. The eyes of thousands of workers and leaders were full of tears who had assembled in the condolence meeting when Shri Arun Jaitlely, Smt. Sushma Swaraj and BJP Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta described in detail about the tragic incident. Being a Party to the grief of the family members of the deceased and the sorrow of countrymen, BJP has decided not to celeberate any programme of new year. 

Shri Arun Jaitely, Smt. Sushma Swaraj and BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta went to the house of the victim to console the family members. They told that the BJP is with them in this hour of sorrow. BJP will continue its fight till the justice is done in this case. When Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Smt. Sushma Swaraj paid tributes to the deceased, tears continued to flow from her eyes. The entire atmosphere became emotional. She told that the Government behaved in an irresponsible manner on such tragic incident. The opposition was not taken into confidence. If the Government desired it could have called special session of Parliament and assertain views of all the parties and passed stern & reasonable laws for punishment in rape cases. But the Government tried to avoid it. She told that the year 2013 should be dedicated to the security of women. 
Addressing the condolence meeting, Shri Arun Jaitely told that this heinous gang rape has crossed all the limits of human civilisation. This has ashamed the entire humanity. The incidents of rape, murder, kidnapping of women etc. have increased in Delhi, but the insensitive Government did not take these incidents seriously. The Government tried to give political colour to this incident and tried to implicate innocent youngmen in the case of murder. It should be condemned by every one. Due to the evasive policies of the Government, lakhs of youths of Delhi are agitated and the Government wants to solve it by force. 

Addressing the workers in the condolence meeting, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta said that Delhi has become rape capital. India has been ashamed in the entire world due to this incident. The image of India has been tarnished. Heads of every civilised countrymen are hanging in shame, but the insensitive Congress Government lathi charge the people of Delhi agitated due to this incident. Due to this people became more violent and agitated. The people of Delhi have lost trust in law and the Government. It seems that there is undeclared emergency in the country. BJP will continue its fight till justice is done in this case. It may be mentioned that just after getting the information about the gang rape, Shri Vijender Gupta went to Safdarjung Hospital. Since then he continued to have contact with the family members. He offered every help on behalf of BJP and remained in contact with the family members on telephone when they were in Singapore. He was present at the Dwarka crematorium when the last rites were performed. 

SarvaShri Ram Lal, Shahnawaz Hussain, Vijay Goel, Arti Mehra, Vani Tripathi, Shyam Jaju, all the Mayors of three Corporations of Delhi, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Mange Ram Garg, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi and other leaders and thousands of workers participated in the condolence meeting.
