BJP PRADESH PRESIDENT MEETS DEPUTY COMMISSIONER OF POLICE
Demanding registration of FIR on the complaint by BJP in Indraprastha Estate PS and the arrest of all the persons named in it, exposing the conspiracy of blocking decrease in power tariff and taking charge of all the proofs, documents by the police, a delegation under the leadership of BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta met DCP of Central Delhi Shri Devesh Chandra Srivastava.
Shri Gupta told him in detail how in the year 2010, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit had blocked the approval of DERC to decrease power tariff by 23 percent for the power consumers of Delhi under a conspiracy. Due to this, the people of Delhi could not get the benefit of decreased power tariff for about a year and they continued to pay at increased rates. Besides the Chief Minister, many senior officers, two members of DERC and high level officers of power companies were part of the conspiracy.
DCP Shri D.C. Srivastava listened carefully and assured Shri Vijender Gupta of necessary legal action immediately.
