BJP will not tolerate dictatorship

Chief Minister wants to capture the Corporations through back door – Vijender Gupta

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has alleged that after defeat in all the three Corporations, the Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit is trying to capture the three Corporations through back door. Government has finalised the names of Commissioners without consulting the BJP which has won the elections. The Party which emerged victorious in the elections was not consulted in the finalising the names of Commissioners. He told that this dictatorship will not be tolerated by BJP and this issue will be raised from the streets to the Parliament.

Although BJP has won the elections the Government is fully trying to have control over the administration so that the BJP may be obstructed in its efforts to serve the people through the three Corporations. So far Delhi and Central Governments have not informed about the financial position, status of staff and other important matters. All the decisions are being taken secretly without informing the BJP in an arbitrary manner.

Shri Gupta told that it is essential for democracy and civic government that the Government does not obstruct the local self government in its functioning and allow them to work in an autonomous and independent manner so that the Party which has emerged victorious may run the Corporations in a democratic way. Congress and the Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit had hatched a conspiracy to divide the Corporation in three parts before the elections. The Central Government approved it without due consideration and trifurcated the Corporation. Congress was planning to capture at least one of the Corporation.

The people gave their mandate against the misgovernance, corruption, price spiral and loot of the Congress Party in the Corporation elections. The plan of the Congress failed. Now after losing the elections, the Chief Minister refused to take the responsibility of defeat and she has started to make new moves to weaken the BJP.

Under democracy the primary requirement is that the bureaucrats are appointed with the consultation of the Party which has emerged victorious so that they may not feel difficulties in getting the work of the people done. The Chief Minister wants to create gult between the public representatives and the bureaucrats so that the BJP may have to face redtapism at every step in the work of development of Delhi.
