Hike in the fare of sleeper class is an unbearable burden on the people of Poorvanchal & Maharashtra - Vijender Gupta

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta has said that the steep hike of Rs. 50 in the sleeper class fare from Delhi to Patna and Rs. 70 in the sleeper class fare from Delhi to Maharashtra proposed in the Rail Budget today is unnecessary burden on the people in the time of price spiral and demanded the Rail Minister to withdraw it immediately.

He told that Poorvanchal is already suffering from poverty. The people of Poorvanchal are laborious and hence they are in demand in entire India. Economic system of many big cities of India is prospering due to the labour of the people of Poorvanchal. Every year lakhs of people go to other States from Bihar. If five members of the family travel then that poor family will have to bear Rs. 250/- in addition which is anti people decision. Large number of people of Maharashtra live in Delhi. Now these families will have to pay Rs. 350/- in addition which is unbearable for them.
