BJP WILL DEMONSTRATE FOR DEMANDING REMOVAL OF P. CHIDAMBARAM & PROTEST AGAINST POWER TARIFF HIKE

Delhi Pradesh BJP President Shri Vijender Gupta accused the Central Government for Shielding Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram and Chief Minister of Delhi Smt. Sheila Dikshit those who are involved in corruption scams. Addressing the Pradesh Office Bearers Meeting he said that BJP will demonstrate for demanding removal of Home Minister P.Chidambaram on Saturday, 4th February at Jantar Mantar. He further said we will tell the people how the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has given shelters and supported corrupt leaders of their party. BJP workers will also protest against scams of Delhi Government and 5 percent of Power tariff hike. 

Shri Gupta said that Supreme Court on Thursday has cancelled 122 licenses given by the UPA Government and found high level manipulations in the allotment of these licenses which has market value of thousands of crores and court has also pointed out that these manipulations may have been done for corruption because the tender policy was manipulated in a such way where very few players left. He alleged that the current UPA Government is being exposed day by day for indulging in new high level corruptions and how Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi making corruption allegation on the non Congress State Government in their elections speeches. 

 Shri Vijender Gupta said Congress led UPA Government is burdened with the scams and corruption and countdown has been started and present Government has been failed to run the country. The common man of Delhi is already facing price spiral but the present Government is imposing burden by increasing electricity and water tariffs continuously. He said it is highly shameful that very silently without publication in the newspapers and any official release the present Delhi Government increase the water tariff on 1st January of every year. He criticized Delhi Governments 5 percent tariff hike and termed inhuman behavior at the time of price spiral. He said people of Delhi will not forget only in the month of September, 2011, 22 percent power tariff hike was forcefully imposed on the innocent people of Delhi. He said it is more unfortunate that DERC meant to protect the rights of consumer appears to be sympathatetic with private power companies.
