Fraud with the people on the issue of regularization of unauthorized colonies

CHEATING CASE SHOULD BE FILED AGAINST SHEILA GOVERNMENT – VIJENDER GUPTA

In a Public Meeting organized on the occasion of laying foundation stone of Pratibha Prathmik Vidyalaya of MCD to be constructed at the cost of Rs. 6.57 crores at Sant Ravidas Nagar (Jahangirpuri) in MCD Ward No. 19 (Bhalaswa). BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta alleged that in view of the forthcoming MCD elections, the Ministers of Delhi Government have once again started issuing misleading statements on regularization of unauthorized colonies so that 50 lakh people living in unauthorized colonies may be convinced that the Government is very much worried for them. The reality is that Congress Government is again going to play fraud with the people.

Shri Gupta alleged that in September, 2008, Congress Government played a drama of distributing provisional certificates but the reality is that Delhi Government has not regularized a single colony till date. Even the initial process of fixing boundaries of the colonies has not been completed till today by Delhi Government.

Shri Gupta has raised a question to the Urban Development Minister in Delhi Government Dr. Ashok Walia should answer that whether the Central Government is to regularize the colonies and on what grounds the Urban Development Minister of Delhi is claiming that all the process related to regularization of about 150 colonies of Delhi have been completed and has been forwarded to the Central Government for approval?

He also alleged that Delhi Government and its Ministers are playing fraud with the people on the issue of regularization so that the failure of Government during the last three years may be covered up and the people may again support them in the forthcoming MCD elections. He also accused that high profile Congress leaders are also involved in the case of fictitious colonies. They are also adding insult to injury of the people by stating that the process of regularization is being completed.

BJP strongly opposes the cheating with 50 lakh people of unauthorized colonies by Delhi Government and the party will start movement for securing the rights of the people living in hellish conditions in these colonies and expose the fraud of Congress party with the people of these colonies.

Mayor of Delhi Rajni Abbi, Chairman of MCD Standing Committee Yogendra Chandolia, Local Councillor Surender Kharab, Officebearers of RWAs and local citizens were present on this occasion.
