Declaration in monthly meeting of BJP

BJP will make all the efforts to stop BSP, SP in forming Government in UP – Arun Jaitly

In the monthly meeting of BJP Delhi Pradesh held in Talkatora Stadium today, main speaker Leader of the Oppposition in Rajya Sabha Shri Arun Jaitley categorically declared that BJP will make all the efforts to stop SP or BSP in forming Government in UP. Hence BJP will not support these two parties after the elections also. He challenged that if Congress Party has courage to end corruption then it should declare that their party will not help BSP or SP to form Government in UP after the elections. The BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Vijender Gupta presided over the meeting and announced date wise series of programmes of public movement to be initiated by BJP in Delhi.

Shri Jaitley told that Congress Party is struggling to get fourth place in UP. Actually the Congress is not contesting elections in UP rather it is searching for a new ally in SP or BSP for the support of its Government at Centre if TMC withdraws its support from UPA. Hence it is making wild allegations against BJP which is danger to it and only playing friendly match with SP and BSP. He called upon the workers of Delhi that they should take the Assembly elections of UP and Uttaranchal seriously and fully support the BJP candidates in emerging victorious on the Assembly seats in neighboring UP and Uttaranchal. He told that the Congress does not want to free the CBI which is being used to blackmail the Opposition parties and does not want to allow CBI to come under Lokpal. Hence it happened for the first time in the history of Indian Parliament that the ruling party did not allow the Parliament to function and forced adjournment in the Rajya Sabha in the midnight. It is regrettable that the Chairman of Rajya Sabha and Vice President of the country also allowed the Congress to succeed in its effort. The BJP workers should personally contact two crore people of Delhi and tell this fact to them. They should also inform the people that the Congress Party for the sake of votes openly violated the Constitution by reserving 4.5% posts for the minorities on the grounds of religion out of OBC quota and downgraded the dignity of the Constitution and tried to divide the society on religious grounds.

Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra told that five cases of corruption are pending against Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit in the Court of Lokayukta of Delhi. The High Court imposed fine of Rs. 3000 on her in a defamation case. CAG, Shunglu Committee, PAC have found the CM to be involved corruption of thousands of crores, but the Chief Minister of Delhi did not consider proper to resign. Mr. Suresh Kalmadi had to go to jail for committing bungling of only 3000 crores, but Delhi Government which committed bungling of 40 thousand crores in CWG is scot-free.

The National General Secretary of BJP Shri Vijay Goel addressing to BJP workers resolve by raising both hands that with the slogan ‘Sheila Hatao-Delhi Bachao’ lakhs of BJP workers will start rout of the Congress from MCD elections which will continue till victory in 2013 Assembly elections and 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Referring about many problems of Delhi, he told the BJP workers that the Party needs dedicated workers for the common man. Pradesh Co-In charge Shri Rameshwar Chaurasia got the workers to resolve that they will dislodge the Congress Government which is in power for the last 13 years and will established the BJP rule so that Delhi may become prosperous States like Gujrat and Madhya Pradesh. He also instructed the organisation to become organizationally stronger and effective like the workers of Gujrat and Madhya Pradesh.
Pradesh Organization General Secretary Shri Vijay Sharma appreciated the method of working and discipline of all the workers present in the monthly meeting and announced about new programmes. He told that BJP will take out Jansangharsh Yatra in entire Delhi from 6 to 13 February on the problems of the people of Delhi. This yatra will pass through all the seven Lok Sabha seats and apprise the people about the misdeeds of the Delhi Government. The Party will start visiting door to door from 13 to 29 February. In this campaign BJP will distribute handbills, stickers in every household. The workers will note the suggestions of the people and also verify the voter list. A big workers rally will be organized in Ramlila Maidan of Delhi on 26th February. In this rally two teams of the workers of 11,161 booths of Delhi will participate. This programme will be conducted by Shri Pravesh Verma. Prof. Rajni Abbi, Arti Mehra, Vani Tripathi, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Mange Ram Garg, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, Rameshwar Chaurasia and many office bearers and senior leaders participated in the monthly meeting. One minute silence was observed on the death of former National Treasurer M.N. Sukaraman Nambair and the workers prayed for the peace of the departed soul.
